YHWH Elohim (God) is Love
Yahweh Elohim (God) is love
Y’shua/Jesus the Messiah, the Master/Lord, is love. The Spirit of Messiah that was in the prophets was love. The Father and the Son is love. And just like any father who loves a son there must be a balance of love and guidance that sometimes calls for correction to keep them on the right path. Today’s blog is about that. More specifically it’s about the Father and the Son, and the correction He uses. From the beginning (Bereshít) til the end (Revelation or Hisgalus {meaning His Appearing}) is a balance of love and correction and in certain reflections love and correction are one and the same. The Father and The Son corrects us because He loves us. From the days of old, even in the beginning until the end The Word says that Elohim brings catastrophes and disasters to the Earth in order to correct us (though this is not always the case, at times the disaster is His vengeance, The Wrath of God).
The following Scripture supports this point of view of chastising the ones He loves:
Amo 4:6,11 (LSB)
6 “But I gave you also cleanness of teeth in all your cities And lack of bread in all your places, Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares Yahweh.
And in verse 11 YHWH states:
11 “I overthrew you as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, And you were like a firebrand delivered from a blaze; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares Yahweh.
This is one of the clearest passages connecting calamity with a call to return to Him (and there many more in the Torah and Prophets). For truly the Father and the Son desire for you to come and return unto Him. For Elohim is long suffering and He will pardon much, He will take us as His prized possession IF we return unto Him.
Another Scripture to bring in:
Rev 3:19 (KJV)
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent (in older versions it’s amend your ways and your doings). Return to Yah with a changed heart and love Him with your heart, mind, body, and your strength. Praise Yah!!
We’re seeing in clear view that the Father and the Son corrects those He loves. And this is the purpose of this message today.
“Return unto our God for He is merciful and is calling you home, turn from your evil way and worship Him. Give Him praise and esteem for all He has done and all that He will do. The purpose of the plagues and disasters He brings is to bring us close unto Him and to call us out from our wickedness and to be Holy for the One who calls is Holy.”
Therefore, as you make your preparations for the storm today, remember that He is in charge and He causes or allows all things to happen in our lives. He is the same God yesterday today and forever, and He does not change. So as you make these preparations with your family remember who He is: His character, His authority, His divine identity for this is the Name of our God; so please know that you are loved. Please return unto the Creator of the universe and give Him your heart. May Y’shua keep you all safe. And please Father and Son, O Y’shua my Master, keep them safe and protect them as the Apple (Pupil) of Your eye. Amén.
